Post Secondary Student Support Services Developed business plan and comprehensive financial model for roll-out of a post-secondary student support services business for national operator of schools serving at-risk youth and students with special needs. Identified new site locations, introduced services concept to community college administrators, negotiated facilities leases, helped recruit site directors and professional staff and managed development of site operations manual for 2 new centers.
Allied Health Schools Constructed financial model and capitalization plan for owner of allied health schools to identify resource requirements associated with building a regional network of schools. Presented the plan to a private equity group and secured proposal the help fund the expansion strategy.
Secured credit and private equity financing to fund purchase of proprietary allied health and information technology school group.
Public School District Actively participated on committee, comprised of parents, educators and school administrators to evaluate new superintendent candidates for local school corporation.
Charter Schools Served on panel, formed and led by representatives of prominent foundation to thoroughly evaluate planning grant applications of several charter school organizations. Subsequently participated in two conferences to further assist grant recipients with strategic planning processes.
Information Technology & IT Schools Evaluated financial strategy options for owners of proprietary business and information technology colleges prior to a successful initial public offering.
Prepared business valuation for K-12 instructional management system company prior to subsidiary's sale by parent company.
Evaluated financial strategy options, prepared business valuation and negotiated letter of intent regarding sale of information technology school group to strategic buyer.
Structured transaction, negotiated letter of intent, composed private placement memorandum and solicited equity investors for acquisition of private college.
Corporate Training Evaluated financial strategy options for corporate training business serving the broadband industry.
